Time for World Championships in Aarhus
Over
1400 delegates from 70 nations from five continents have made
a provisional registration to the 2006 World Championships
in Artistic Gymnastics. 36 countries are arriving with full
teams for both men and women.
The
World Championships will be hosted by Aarhus, Denmark’s
secondest largest city. Aarhus is where the past, the present
and the future meet. Ever since the Vikings founded the city
it has been brimming with activity. Aarhus Bay on the East
coast of Jutland is one of the most scenic spots in Denmark.
The city is beautifully situated on the east coast, with miles
of sandy white beaches to the
north and south of the city. The ambience of the city is quite
unique, you find it everywhere whether you go shopping in
the various kinds of shops, take a break at one of the beautiful
squares and parks or enjoy a meal at the cafes and restaurants
which Aarhus has in abundance. Another way to spend your day
is to visit one of the many art galleries and museums. To
